JOEY MASSARI

Composer / Music Producer

Joey Massari is an LA-based composer, music producer and engineer from Palmdale, CA. A classically trained pianist in his youth, Joey developed a dual interest in music production and screen scoring while attending Occidental College, where he studied Music Composition and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production. 

After graduating in 2014, Joey began working as an assistant to Emmy-nominated composer Tree Adams. While working under Tree, he contributed additional music on network TV shows such as The 100, NCIS: New Orleans, Lethal Weapon, American Style, Sirens, Legends, and The Lizzie Borden Chronicles. He has also worked as an orchestrator, copyist, music editor, and engineer on many of these same projects.  Through his work with various production companies, Joey's music has been placed on programs such as Shark Week, NFL, MLB, NCAA, The Challenge, Real Housewives, and many more. He also stays busy composing for corporations, short films, and producing/co-writing with various recording artists. 

Joey's artist project is Six Foot Pigeons, a production duo he formed with his brother Tommy . Be on the lookout for 6'P's debut EP, "Long Range Zoom"
